## FAQs

Do I need an account? 

No. Neither do the people you share with. Your agent installs the CLI, and the first publish sets up your machine automatically.

Is my laptop exposed to the internet? 

Not through qURL. Your app stays hidden from public scans and no inbound port is opened; only someone holding a valid link can reach it, and only that one app. If you already exposed the app another way, such as a tunnel or a dev server listening on 0.0.0.0, close that separately.

Which agents does this work with? 

Any coding agent that can run terminal commands, such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or Windsurf. Paste the prompt and it takes care of the rest.

What happens when I close my laptop? 

The app is reachable only while your machine is on and the app is running. When both are back, sharing picks up again without publishing again. If your link has expired by then, ask your agent for a new one.

How long do links last? 

Links expire on their own. Ask your agent for a shorter or longer one; the service sets the maximum. Ask for a new link whenever you need one.

Can I stop sharing? 

Yes. Ask your agent to stop sharing the app. It can turn sharing back on later, or delete it for good.
