What is Single Packet Authorization (SPA)?

Single Packet Authorization (SPA) lets a receiver validate a cryptographic request before permitting a connection. The implementation determines the packet format, replay protection, and resulting access window.

SPA is an authorization mechanism. It does not mean that every service on the host is hidden or that application authentication is unnecessary.

How LayerV Implements This

LayerV uses OpenNHP network-hiding authorization as part of access to published resources. A shared access link is a bearer credential; possession of it alone does not verify the identity of the person opening it.
